Dr. Joel Bateman

Dr. Joel Bateman

Research Director

Joel is a trained academic turned commercial consultant. Familiar in a wide variety of research methods, Joel directs the Atlas lab and ensures that complex data is turned into clear solutions.

Joel holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Sydney, where he spent four years researching human memory. He is a published academic author and his research has been presented around the world.

Joel loves chatting about the newest VR technology, esports and his dog, Dexter.

Carlos Sanchez

Managing Director

Carlos has over 15 years experience in market research. Working his way from consultant to director of his own company, Carlos has seen the industry at every level and firmly believes it can always be done better.

Carlos holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Essex and is a member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS).

When he’s not working you will find Carlos hanging out with his two kids or playing football for his local team.
